Teknik In Vitro Fertilization/IVF
Teknik tindakan in vitro fertilization atau IVF, atau yang disebut juga dengan bayi tabung, dibagi menjadi lima tahapan. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi stimulasi ovarium terkontrol, ovum pick-up/petik sel telur, preparasi sperma, inseminasi oosit/fertilisasi dan kultur, serta transfer embrio.[1,3]
Tahapan IVF
IVF terdiri dari tahap stimulasi ovarium untuk menghasilkan beberapa oosit matang, diikuti dengan pengambilan oosit dan fertilisasi menggunakan sperma pasangan atau donor. Embrio yang terbentuk kemudian dikultur, diseleksi, dan ditransfer ke dalam kavum uteri.[1,3]
